Payment of Fees:
A non-refundable fee of $30 per student, or maximum of $60 per family is required yearly at time of registration. Tuition will be paid by automatic credit card payment. Tuition will be charged on the 25th day of each month. You must sign an automatic credit card charge authorization form.
Credit card, personal checks or cash will not be accepted for in-person tuition payment on a monthly basis.
If for any reason a home or charter school does not pay a student's tuition as originally anticipated, the family understands that they are personally responsible for any unpaid tuition and fees owed to Wasilla Music & Dance Center. Those families are required to keep a current credit card on file that will be charged if the home or charter school does not pay.
Withdrawal and Refunds
To withdraw from classes or lessons, the parent or guardian responsible for tuition must email us before the end of the day on the 10th of the month. This will serve as written notification & instruct Wasilla Music & Dance Center not to charge your account on the 25th of that month, for the next month's tuition.
This is a month to month agreement, where you give us approximately 3 weeks' notice of your stopping classes. There is no refund for any unused classes.
Wasilla Music & Dance Center reserves the right to terminate lessons for any student without notice. In such a case, a refund for unused classes will be given.
Missed Classes:
No refunds, credits or make-up classes are given for any missed private or group classes. If for any reason, we cancel classes, a credit toward next month's classes will be given.
Substitutions:
Wasilla Music & Dance Center may provide a substitute teacher if scheduled teacher is unable to attend a class. If a substitute is unavailable, a credit toward next month's classes will be given.
Injuries
Parents, legal guardians of minor students and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on Wasilla Music & Dance Center's property resulting from normal class activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during or after lesson time.
Photo Release:
Wasilla Music & Dance Center is hereby granted permission to take photographs of the students to use in brochures, web sites, posters, advertisements and other promotional materials it creates and to copyright such photographs in its name.
Covid-19 Guidelines:
I agree that by enrolling in either the Anchorage or Wasilla location, I will abide by that location's current Covid-19 guidelines and protocols.
Wasilla Music & Dance Center is a unique studio offering quality private & group music lessons and dance classes. We are located at 231 E. Herning Avenue, Wasilla. We have been teaching in Wasilla for over 5 years and have a location in Anchorage for over 20 years.
Our building has a state of the art dance studio and 5 music studios. The dance studio has a floating "marley "dance floor, which helps reduce the risk of injuries and allows students to dance longer without getting tired. The music rooms are professionally designed for private lessons, group guitar, keyboard lessons. Multiple students can take private or group music lessons and dance classes at the same time on the same day. That means parents only have to drive to one location for everyone's lessons & classes. What a time saver for parents!
