Music Teacher Position

We are currently seeking musicians who are able to work well with children to join our team.  A music or education degree is a plus; teaching experience, or a long background of training on an instrument and a willingness to be trained, may be acceptable.
Our mission as a music school is to make music lessons fun and engaging, especially for our younger students.
The ideal applicants will be able to plan exciting lessons for children and incorporate games into their teaching.
Current Positions Available Include:
--Piano Teacher
--Vocal Teacher
--Guitar Teacher
--Violin Teacher
--Drum Teacher
--Preschool Music Teacher (We have a curriculum in place)              
Main Tasks Include:
--Teaching private lessons, as well as small groups (max 4 per class)
--Preparing student materials to be used in class
--Writing brief lesson notes and practice homework
--Ability to teach in person and online
Required Qualities:
--Professional approach to teaching
--Organizational & time management skills
--Excellent attention to detail

Qualifications/Experience:
--Degree in Music or Education (preferred);
--Previous teaching experience (preferred)
--Long background of training on an instrument may be acceptable, with successful completion of our Teacher Training Program
We have part time positions available for music teachers who want to teach 2 or more days a week.  We are searching for qualified candidates who can make a commitment to teach for the school year:  August thru May.

Salary $20-30 p/hour DOE
